Say goodbye to mouse lag

A4-TECH recently unveiled its G7-630 wireless mouse for Windows and Mac users that promises full speed and no delays.

The 2.4GHz-based 800dpi mouse comes with a two-way communication technology and error correction capability to speed up data transmission and increases wireless precision, the company claimed.

Additionally its built-in auto channel hopping feature automatically detects and secures available channels in the busy public 2.4GHz universal bands to prevent connection loss.

The mouse works up to 15m, making it suitable to be used to control a media centre in the living room while you lounge around comfortably on the sofa.

Its mini-receiver is given a gold-plated surface treatment to ensure transmission efficiency and stability, A4-Tech claimed. When used with a laptop, the “plug and forget” receiver is small enough that you can let it stay inserted in the USB port even when you pack the laptop away.

There is also a small hidden compartment underneath the mouse to house the mini-receiver when it is not in use.

Other notable features inlude the Three-Shiftable Report Rate and Eight Gestures options. Users can select three different report rates, including 2ms, 4ms and 8ms, to deliver smooth and accurate cursor control depending on the task.

The faster speed is highly recommended when playing fast moving PC games, A4-Tech said.

Meanwhile the Eight Gestures option is to quickly issue commands in an application — users can continually press the right button and move the mouse to one of the eight predetermined directions to activate the function.

The RM99 mouse is powered by a single AA battery, which can last up to 1,000 hours depending on usage, said the company.
